First ask yourslef, "Why?" Why are they "unreliable" (in your opinion) and then, perhaps more important, why are you delegating (better yet, "what?")? What, then, are your goals? To educate? To grow? To Test? With the answers to these questions, you’ll map your way to a path with your teammate that will highlight the "How" and validate your choice.
