Resilience then is used to describe the strength of character in people like Timothy who learn to lead normal, fulfilling lives despite having experienced trauma or tragedy. And, since no one no matter how gifted or successful, is immune from hardship, challenges, failures, and missteps, resilience is essential if we are to grow ever closer to our fullest individual and organizational potential.

So on a scale of 1-10, how resilient are you? More importantly, in which areas can you improve your ability to bend and not break when the storms of life inevitable arrive?
