Jack Welch once suggested that the mail servers at GE be shut-down between certain morning and afternoon hours to allow focus, rather than introduce distraction.  The ability to multi-task is admirable, but the ability to provide true focus to a task when needed is almost otherworldly.  What habits do you bring to the table in order to direct your attention and manage your priorities each day?  How have you stacked your big rocks and little rocks in such a manner as to focus on what’s truly important in the morning?
